Lionsgate delivered a dazzling surprise in Times Square this morning to celebrate the debut of the official trailer for Now You See Me: Now You See Me, the latest installment in the popular heist-magic film franchise. In a bold publicity stunt, the studio gave away $250,000 in digital cash to fans across the country.
New Yorkers and tourists alike were treated to a massive digital billboard displaying the phrase “Now You See Me,” accompanied by a live countdown and a mysterious phone number urging viewers to text or call for a surprise. When the countdown hit zero, the billboard flipped to reveal the message “Now You Don’t,” and participants received a text message linking to the new trailer, along with instant cash rewards sponsored by The Four Horsemen.
The spectacle was further elevated by an in-person performance from franchise newcomers Ariana Greenblatt, Justice Smith, and Dominic Sessa. The trio engaged in a live magic show at the heart of Times Square, creating a visually stunning “heist” performance that mirrored the movie’s trademark style of illusion and mischief.
This high-energy promotion was designed to capture the spirit of the film series, known for its clever tricks, rapid plot twists, and thrilling visual effects. The new installment introduces a fresh generation of magicians who join forces with the original Four Horsemen for the most ambitious and enchanting caper yet.
Returning stars Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, and Isla Fisher reprise their roles, alongside franchise newcomers Rosamund Pike and Morgan Freeman. Ruben Fleischer directs the film, which is scheduled to hit theaters on November 14, 2025.
In the film, Dominic Sessa plays Bosco, Jesse Eisenberg returns as Daniel Atlas, Isla Fisher as Henley Reeves, and Justice Smith as Charlie. The trailer teases a mix of mind-bending illusions and unexpected twists, promising another thrilling chapter for fans of the magical heist saga.
Now You See Me: Now You See Me continues the legacy of blending cinematic sleight-of-hand with suspenseful storytelling, reaffirming the franchise’s place as a crowd favorite in modern movie magic.
