The American Film Institute (AFI) Film Festival has announced that Clint Eastwood’s latest thriller, “Juror No. 2,” will have its world premiere as the closing night film on Sunday, October 27. The film, directed by the Oscar-winning Eastwood, will subsequently be released in limited theaters on Friday, November 1.

“Juror No. 2,” penned by Jonathan Abrams, explores the moral struggles of Justin Kemp, portrayed by Nicholas Hoult. Kemp, a juror in a high-profile murder trial, faces a profound ethical dilemma that could influence the trial’s outcome, potentially deciding the fate of the accused. The film also features a distinguished cast, including Oscar nominees Toni Collette and J.K. Simmons, alongside Zoey Deutch, Chris Messina, Gabriel Basso, Leslie Bibb, and Kiefer Sutherland.
