Vertical Entertainment has announced that its latest action-packed dark fantasy film, In the Lost Lands, was available for digital rental and purchase on Tuesday, April 8. Based on George R.R. Martin’s short story, the film stars Guardians of the Galaxy’s Dave Bautista and Resident Evil’s Milla Jovovich.
The movie’s premise follows a determined queen who, in a desperate bid to fulfill her love, sends the powerful sorceress Gray Alys into the mystical Lost Lands to seek out a magical power. Alys, accompanied by her reluctant guide, the drifter Boyce, must navigate both human and demonic threats in their perilous journey.
After its theatrical debut a month earlier, In the Lost Lands now was available across digital platforms. The film, rated R, currently holds a 25% Tomatometer rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 56 critic reviews.
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, who co-wrote the screenplay with Constantin Werner, the movie’s ensemble cast also includes Arly Jover, Amara Okereke, Fraser James, Simon Lööf, and others. The film has a runtime of 101 minutes.
